October 26, 2007We were honored to have Lt. Governor Colean Bailey induct two new members to our Club this week. Mary Browning was sponsored by John Robinson and Brent Pritchard was sponsored by Bill Hanks. Make sure you take a chance to welcome them at the next meeting.
Jenny Rush and Key Club Lt. Governor Tommy Boykin, from the Homewood Key Club, shared an update on the amazing projects that the Key Club and Division are working on to make a difference in the lives of children. We were delighted to have representatives from the Homewood Middle School Builders Club join us, including two advisors and three officers and their principal- who is a fellow Kiwanian. Meeting Recap- 10/10/2007
October 10, 2007What an exciting meeting today- one that makes you have hope for the revitalization of downtown Birmingham. Jack Fields, Executive Director of the BJCC, shared information on the BJCC Complex and the development of an Entertainment District adjacent to the BJCC, being developed by Performa Entertainment. October 4, 2007Happy New Year! Kiwanis New Year that is. As you are probably aware our club operates on a 10/1-9/30 Fiscal Year.
What and exciting time to be a Kiwanian. We had a great meeting this week. Our own member and newly installed Lt.
