We were honored to have Lt. Governor Colean Bailey induct two new members to our Club this week. Mary Browning was sponsored by John Robinson and Brent Pritchard was sponsored by Bill Hanks. Make sure you take a chance to welcome them at the next meeting.
Jenny Rush and Key Club Lt. Governor Tommy Boykin, from the Homewood Key Club, shared an update on the amazing projects that the Key Club and Division are working on to make a difference in the lives of children. They are a true example of why we support our Sponsored Youth Leadership organizations.
Our speaker this week was Ellyn Grady, Sr. Vice President, United Way of Central Alabama. She shared about all of the great ways that our community comes together to support those with needs. Attendees were encouraged to support this years campaign, as well as the opportunities for other ways that those in the community can volunteer. Visit their website at www.uwca.org for complete information on the impact of United Way on our community.
