Bob Pollard, Environmental Sciences Teacher at Indian Springs School, came and shared about the many sustainable resources and “green” building techniques that are used at the school. The most impressive of these is the Biodiesel Production that converts used cooking oil from theDining Hall and local Jim N’ Nicks Restaurants into fuel for the school’s buses and maintenance vehicles, as well as Pollard’s 1987 Mercedes.
