Following our July tradition of off-site meetings durig sprucing up at the Club, we return to the Gold room on July 23rd. We will have 2 weeks of meetings int eh Gold room and then be one of the inaugural groups meeting in the newly renovated staterooms. Below is an update from Gary Kamenicky, General Manager of The Club…
“The new Staterooms of The Club will be opened on schedule, August 1. They are going to attract a tremendous amount of interest in hosting private events at The Club. Everything is fresh, bright, and updated to reflect the current trends and demands of the times. Teh rooms have been named to reflect some of the great older communities in Birmingham.
- The Redmont Room (the old concourse) is a wonderful addition to that area.
- The Glen Iris Suites 1, 2, and 3 (Old Staterooms 1,2, and 3) will blend with the Redmont Room or can be separate rooms.
- The Forest Park Room (Old Staterooms 5, 6)
- The Highlands Room (Old Staterooms 7, 8 )
- The Vulcan Room (Old Stateroom 9)
All Staterooms have been improved with additional lighting, drop down projection screens, blackout screens, and a/v capabilities. The new Stateroom entrances will boast an electronic informational screen to help direct guests, a coat check area, and direct acces tot he new Staterooms.”
